HE'S GONE TOO FAR
You *****, I know you're here. Cpl Stone??? Jealous much? Go back to high school you ****.
Correct you are JR, but you forgot that Shadetree Mechanic became "Crank and Chrome" on TNN for a couple of seasons before becoming "Two Guys Garage".
I wonder what Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman are really doing these days. I saw Sam on 2GG as a Cummins Diesel rep.a few weeks back. Not the same though. Never saw a GMC Sprint/El Camino payoff either, although it was close to being done.
I'm gonna go on TV and build "Lieutenant Boulder" and use High School auto shop to help!
LOL.. you guys are too much!
"I'm not driving fast, I'm flying low"
okay this weeks extreme mud truck payoff!?!?! well sorry but what a dud was that woulda rather watched a show on how to install a locker for the 10 time. (any show that shows how to install a locker really??? from this point on ill puke in my mouth) what a waist of a really good motor.
how can i have a future if im stuck in the past?
I refuse to watch X 4X4. Ian's arrogant stuck up attitude is just rediculous. And now without Jesse, forget that show.
It's not the ride it's the rider.
i think it would be great to see a war of builds on show. us viewers would win.
stacy needs to bring jessi on for a guess host.
how can i have a future if im stuck in the past?
You know, guys, we are lucky to have so many building shows to chose from. I like 'em all. They have their own style. I can't remember if we had anything like this when I was growing up.
We didn't! We were lucky to have ABC Sports cover the Indy 500 and perhaps someone would cover the Daytona 500. Virtually no drag racing or power boats either. Custom car building shows didn't exist, we just got to see all the custom cars on new TV shows like the Munsters, Batman, the Monkees, the Green Hornet, etc. I think Horsepower TV/Hot Rod TV are about the oldest car shows going. HPTV has lasted about 13 years.
shadetree mechanic. if it's still on the air. i remeber that when i was around 12 or so.
It got changed to Crank & Chrome for a while, then changed networks and is now 2 Guys Garage.
You are telling my age, man! I remember when the only racing on TV was snooty Indy cars and NASCAR was "Fried chicken in a bucket racin".
Now, NASCAR is almost out of reach with 3/4 of the stands empty during an Indy race.
Now, Sundays are "educational/informational" TV, or at least that is how I get my two year old and six year old granddaughters to give me **** tube privileges over disney channel, sesame street and barney!
That was it?
I thought it was something big like a FerrariFred or Ben thing.
There is no problem that cannot be ratified without the use of high explosives.
Oh, come on guys! There's no place for this Junior High stuff. Cpl. Stone is going to be a totally different vehicle from Sgt. Rock. It's going to be cool to see a deuce-and-a-half build, I don't care who does it.
Ian and Stacey have totally different delivery styles and I like 'em both.
I'm sure we all have ideas on 4WD vehicles. I've got a few projects ahead of WWSD? (What Would Scooby Do?) but I'll get to it someday.
It's pretty obvious that there was jab in the intorduction of Corporal Stone. just listen to what Ian says, "Private PEBBLE, General GRANITE, Corporal STONE. He's defnetly going for a Seargent ROCK parody. Actually, I kind of wonder if it wasn't a one off joke, amybe even a good natured poke at Stacey to get Sgt. Rock done, seeing as this is the second airing of that episode (I think it originally aired 3-4 months ago) as there has been no mention of the project since.
I suppose it would be neat to see what he could do with it.
Just remember, a SEARGENT outranks a corporal any day!
yea i saw that too, they cant even come up with original ideas HA!
cant say i am suprised though, they got rid or their #1 talent 4 yrs ago
That ***** from X 4x4 thinks he can steal the Sgt. Rock idea and get away with it. I guess copying was allowed in the highschool he taught at.
What?
There is no problem that cannot be ratified without the use of high explosives.

I remember the show and as memory serves me Shadetree Mechanic became Two Guys Garage.
