Call me tommy, I am 60 years of age Iam a viet nam veteran.
iworlked as an operateing engineer for 23 years and am now at home for a while. Iown a 1946 1/2 ton pick upI found in a neighbors yard while i was out walking my dog.Ihavean english setter, his name is chance as in tom's last chance. My lovely wife cheryl named him. He and i do a little bird hunting and hes pretty good in the field too.He actually found my truck.
He and i were on a walk in the neighbourhood when he felt the call of natuer and stopped abroubtly and i tourned around and saw this oldtruck. I went up to the house and asked about it not for sale i was told by the lady of the house. husband built it for my son years ago.I could see that by it's look .Rotted tires rust over yellow paint oh well ikept on walking.That was 2003.Iwalked past for the next 3 years .By now they new me and iwould ask betty tired of looking out you kitchen window at that truck yet?they laugh and say not yet. One dayin 2006 betty said talk to joe so i did and i even brought a model to him of the truck. He said if i wanted it 3k and it was mine. Well now 3k and how to convince the lovely cheryl iwanted this more than life itself. Ibroke down and begged .She being the wonderful women she is relented and gave me the ok. For me heven just opened.

Trannys a 350 three speed with a nova rear end. So after i picked my self off the ground, he said i know you'll do something with her she's sat here for 12 years. So i've sanded and rattle can painted it and i've sanded it and trying to put it together its in primer again and the intierior need done .One day at a time isay heck look how long it took me to get it.
