My Chatter
I need to get working on my Model A, instead I keep playing with the 4x4's. I wish there was a good V-bulletin board for Ford Model A's.
Parts came in today for my flatfender project, I should have that back together and winter-ready on Sunday.
One of these days I need to get my own garage so I can tear my jeep apart and strip and paint EVERYTHING
Typing away on my computer doing DOT paperwork, and answering biology questions (my job). Weird combination huh?

Updated Willys progress.: “Well the Willys has made some huge progress in the last month. The removable plow mount has been fabricated and installed, the rear axle swapped and lincoln locked, and plan to finish it off this weekend. My Snorfari registration came…” read more
List of stuff to do on the 2 ongoing projects: “I figure I would throw this up, and maybe it will motivate me to finish the YJ, the CJ is about where I want it, but have some bugs to work out mechanically before it ever goes in for paint…” read more

I have been into cars for a long time. I grew up with my father having a 73 Buick Apollo and a 78 Trans Am in the garage. I figured speed would get me into trouble, and am an avid outdoorsman, so Jeep became my choice at a young age.
I currently run the following rigs:
1946 CJ2A - 225 V6, D30/D44, 3" lift, 34x9.5 Super Swamper TSL's and an 8klb XRC8 winch
1994 Jeep YJ - 355 SBC, 700R4, NP231C, 4.88 HD HPD44/D60ls, SOA 37" Goodyear MT's on 12 bolt HMMWV wheels, Autometers, 12k lb winch, YORK OBA, and other goodies. - Still a work in progress.
And recently acquired a completely stock 1929 Ford Model A 40 year of storage barn find. This one will be started this winter as it is originally a CA car and requires very minor body work, paint and other goodies to get it going.
